Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) is faced with the enormous task of providing the road infrastructure to better the living conditions of the people of Limpopo province. It comes as no surprise that over the years, the demand for roads has increased significantly. This demonstrates the important role played by the road infrastructure in the development of Limpopo’s economy.

President Ramaphosa

Speaking during the presidential oversight visit at Thakgalane Village where a 32km rural access road is being constructed by Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL), President Cyril Ramaphosa applauded the Agency for the manner in which the project has been executed, resulting in the creation of 115 job opportunities.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAINTAIN GRAVEL ROADS

Dirt and gravel roads also need to be maintained and regravelled as not all roads can be upgraded to tar due to the expensive cost of upgrading roads, or to ensure that when the time comes for an upgrade to tarred surface that this is done in a cost effective manner.

The Board of Directors of Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) SOC has announced that they have accepted the resignation request of Mr Maselaganye Petrus Matji, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RAL for personal reasons.
